This optimization is achieved through manually or automatically running tests via ajax while wrapping assert failures, fatal errors, and warnings in a consistent format. The blerby test runner is actively developed with the intent of optimizing a php developer's coding and refactoring efficiency while maintaining the safety net that unit testing provides.
